How to go about making a change?

It is hard to find the will to make changes in the way I eat, I keep waiting for the "strength" to start the journey. I just can't seem to find it this time, eating is my only enjoyment is you will. I keep asking myself why would I want to do this to myself AGAIN, why would I want to get so heavy? The only thing I can control in my life is what I eat? I find it so relaxing to eat, but it is so horrible to gain 50lbs.
